B.B. Sarollia is the founder and director of J. Burton Walsh Ltd.
 

His work spans strategic research, technology, capital allocation and original intellectual property, with a particular interest in how technological, environmental, economic and geopolitical change alters the range of options available to organisations, economies and civilisation.

He describes this interdisciplinary practice as that of a Civilisationist:

His research includes The Narrowing®, which examines the convergence of constraints progressively reducing civilisation's room for manoeuvre, and Essential Civilisation Technologies®, which focuses on identifying and allocating capital towards technologies, infrastructure, systems and productive capabilities likely to become increasingly important under those conditions.
